Samantha Jane (Sammie) was born in Edinburgh ten weeks premature in 2002 weighing 3lbs. She was cared for in the Edinburgh unit for over a week before being transferred to Inverness as we are based in Wick, in the north of Scotland. Sammie spent a total of six weeks in hospital.
Sammie is now coming up for 18 years old. She passed her driving test in December and is currently at college studying mechanical engineering. Sammie is a keen darts player. We are very proud of her and very grateful for the care we received.
