Charity of the Year
A tentative enquiry was made to me by a close friend, an exploratory meeting with the Club Captain, encouraging noises made by members and we were off on a year’s collaboration with Murrayfield Golf Club as their Charity of the Year.
Golfing Santa, Ascot Day, and More: £13,400 for SSCB!
Junior members played 4 rounds in 24 hours, members dressed in finery for Ascot Race Day, cards were shuffled for a Bridge Evening, name the Golfing Santa competition, a Christmas Fayre to beat all others and generous donations and events resulted in the club presenting SSCB with a cheque for £13,400.

The Charity would like to thank all the members, the Administration team led by Laura, the club catering staff, the professionals, Golf Club Captain Hazel and our Ambassador extraordinaire Denise for realising this magnificent sum and also enjoying a year of fun and laughter.
On behalf of the Charity, I give my personal thanks to experiencing a magnificent year of fundraising with such an amazing group of members. It has been such fun and I hold many memories of this special year.
